The Australian Bureau of Statistics(ABS) is Australia's official statistical organisation. The ABS provide high quality, objective and responsive national statistical services to assist and encourage informed decision-making, research and discussion within governments and the community.
The Australian Institute of Criminology is Australia's pre-eminent national crime and criminal justice research agency. Based in Canberra, the Institute plays an important role conducting timely and proactive research on crime and criminology, and disseminating information to provide the Australian Government with a unique knowledge base from which to inform policy.
